As the first head of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office Health Care Division, he prosecuted predatory health insurance companies that placed profit on patient health.

He worked in President Barack Obama’s Office of Science and Technology Policy in the White House and most recently served as Acting General Counsel for the Commerce Department helping the Biden administration roll out the Build Back Better initiative.
