Sureify, a San Jose, California-based digital insurance platform designed to modernize the life insurance and annuities industry, has raised $ 15 million in Series C funding.

The round was led by Aspen Capital Group with participation from existing investors.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its platform and step up its research and development efforts.

Led by CEO Dustin Yoder, Sureify provides a platform to help operators acquire, maintain and engage their customers. The company enables omnichannel sales with LifetimeACQUIRE, a product that increases placement rates through quotes, an electronic app, automated underwriting and new business transmission. With LifetimeSERVICE, insurers offer their existing customers comprehensive self-service portals and native applications. Finally, LifetimeENGAGE fosters a lifelong relationship between carriers and their policyholders with multi-faceted engagement programs and analytics.

Sureify’s Lifetime platform is used by leading industry life insurers such as Allstate, Amica, Principal, Modern Woodmen of America, State Farm, AAA Life, Brighthouse Financial and Vantis Life (a Penn Mutual company) to add scale, functionality and efficiency without the need to hire additional staff, create proprietary software, or incur other expenses traditionally required to meet modern customer expectations. This uniquely prepares insurers to meet evolving customer needs and compete in the digital arena.
