African Alliance Insurance pays 7.5 billion naira in one year

African Alliance Insurance Plc said it paid 7.5 billion naira to its policyholders in 2021.

The company said this in a statement from Brand, Media and Communications Director Bankole Banjo titled “African Alliance Insurance Excites Customers with N7.5 Billion Claims.”

The statement said: “The leading life insurer, African Alliance Insurance Plc revealed that as of December 2021, it had paid its clients 475 million Naira before the holiday season. This is among the largest claims of 7.5 billion naira paid so far in the year. ”

Speaking on the company’s claims profile, African Alliance Insurance Managing Director / Managing Director Joyce Ojemudia reaffirmed the company’s commitment to keeping its policyholders happy.

She said: “At African Alliance Insurance Plc, we take care of paying genuine claims as they fall due. This is all the more important as the year ends with many uncertainties that can affect the festivities.

“For us, we promised that we will be with them for life; it is our continued fulfillment of this mantra.

She noted the company’s long history of paying claims, saying that a transparent claims process has been instituted.

According to her, the process includes strengthening the claims unit with agile and agile technology-enabled claims experts to join the existing team.

“This made it possible to speed up the processing of complaints. As we end this year on a high note, we reassure our customers that we will not renege on our commitment to pay claims as they fall due, ”said Ojemudia.

The statement showed that the distribution of the claims profile showed that the company had paid 1.23 billion naira in individual life claims; 1.36 billion naira, group life; N626m, Takaful; N25.2m, Esusu payments; and 4.35 billion naira in annuity payments.
