SUMMARY: This notice announces that the US Department of Treasury Federal Insurance Advisory Committee (FACI) will meet by videoconference on Thursday, September 29, 2022of 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The meeting is open to the public. The FACI provides non-binding recommendations and advice to the Federal Insurance Office (OIF) in the United States Treasury Department.

DATES: The meeting will be held by videoconference on Thursday, September 29, 2022of 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

ADDRESSES: The Committee meeting will be held at Cashier room, Treasury Department, 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, washington d.c. 20220 and by videoconference. The meeting will be open to the public and the site is accessible to people with disabilities. As the meeting will be held in a secure facility, members of the public planning to attend the meeting should register online. A valid email address will be required to complete the online registration.

Provisional agenda/topics for discussion: this will be the third FACI 2022 meeting. At this meeting, the FACI discuss topics related to climate-related financial risks and the insurance industry, cyber-insurance developments and international insurance issues. The FACI will also receive updates on the status of each of its sub-committees and from the FIO on its activities, as well as any new cases.
