DeSoto, TX. (June 14, 2021) – Hanan Ali-Lacy was killed in a two-vehicle accident on June 6, 2021 in DeSoto, Texas. The crash happened Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Pleasant Run Road and Ray Andra Drive. Police report Ali-Lacy was pulling Ray Andra Drive when his Jeep was boned by a 17-year-old driver. It is believed that the 17-year-old driver had begun to accelerate at the time of the accident. Ali-Lacy was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the speeding vehicle were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. No further details have been provided at this time. The accident is still under investigation.
